dpugliese
My name is Debbie Pugliese and I am the Marketing Manager for the ParSal Vending Company in Oceanside, NY. Some of you may remember me from my former position as Marketing Manager for the former Folz Vending Company in Oceanside, NY. ParSal Vending is currently selling the All American Chicken Machine and we have been receiving many orders for it from members on this forum. The All American Chicken Machine is a big hit and we are happy to be able to provide you with such a fantastic machine!! We have noticed that there are quite a few inquiries regarding the vending industry on this forum. The same questions seem to keep arising and to help out the industry we will be publishing and sharing our monthly newsletter with all of you. Our first newsletter, the ParSal Post was an amazing hit with operators around the country. As many of you already know, some of our senior staff members were employed by the former Folz Vending Company. Our current staff has been involved in vending over many decades and brings a wealth of experience to ParSal Vending Company. Together these employees have serviced over 150,000 bulk, sticker and spiral machines throughout the United States and Canada. We also, at various times had separate divisions to service over 900 video games, 80,000 charity machines benefiting the March of Dimes and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 10,000 bulk machines in mom and pops and thousands of honor boxes, cranes and kiddie rides. Our staff members have also been involved with the development of the most advanced and proprietary vending route management computer system developed in-house and operated by three full-time computer programmers and a dedicated staff of over 30 people. Our knowledge in the many areas of vending could be of value to the operator members on this site. One of our key employees is Ron Astrackon. Ron started with the former Folz Vending Company in 1973 when they were located at 3199 Lawson Blvd, Oceanside, NY. It just so happens in May, ParSal will be moving into this building. And coincidentally, the former Folz telephone number 516-678-3600 is now the ParSal telephone number. Ron Astrackon started as a Swingman then rose to a Route Representative, then Supervisor, Regional Supervisor and National Operations Manager. Ron has traveled throughout the United States and Canada securing and surveying locations, hiring and training Route Representatives and Supervisors. He also was very instrumental in developing many of the programs that once were used. Because we have been asked to share our wealth of knowledge, we are producing a free monthly newsletter discussing many pertinent vending related topics and a column written by Ron Astrackon. Topics will include setting up routes, locating tips and techniques, hiring and training staff, and success stories. We would like to interview an operator each month and highlight what they have to say. We want to include your photos, comments and topics of interest to YOU!! This will be your newsletter and we want as much input as possible. This newsletter is free and will be offered to everyone. You do not need to be a customer of ours. From time to time, we will interview former Folz employees to further enhance your knowledge. We will also give you updates on ParSal Vending as well. If you are interested in receiving this newsletter, please email the following to my attention: Name Company Address Phone Number Email address Newsletters will be sent via email unless paper mail is requested. We encourage your stories, questions and comments. Please email me this information to dpugliese@parsalvending.com Sincerely, Debbie Pugliese ParSal Post - Jan 2013.pdf
